On the 9th of April, 2025, a disturbing incident took place in a downtown parking garage. A group of unknown teenagers attacked several individuals in the parking garage stairwell.
According to the police, the victims were threatened with water guns before being subjected to a physical assault. They were struck and kicked multiple times during the attack. The suspects made off with a small amount of cash and wireless headphones of the AirPods model.
The police are actively seeking information about the suspects and have released a suspect photo, which can be found at the following link: polizei.nrw/fahndung/178631. The photo shows two male suspects, one wearing a gray top, black pants, and white shoes, and the other dressed in a black top, dark pants, and black shoes.
The suspects are described as slim, having dark hair, and of a similar build. Witnesses can call 02331 986 2066 to provide information about the incident or the whereabouts of the individuals in the photo.
The police have also requested information about three men related to the attacks. They are described as having a southern European appearance: one around 25-30 years old, robust build, black t-shirt, beard, jeans; the second around 25-30 years old, white t-shirt; and the third 19-20 years old, wearing a black tracksuit, athletic build, full beard, short black hair. The identities and locations of these individuals are currently unknown.
